Bishop G. Michael Sitton
Bishop G. Michael Sitton was born on December 29, 1950 to Deacon Elphel Bishop Sitton
and Deaconess Elma Geneva Sitton in Hendersonville, NC. He is the last of nine children. He joined the Union Grove Baptist Church at the age of 13 under Pastor Quincy Owens. He served there until he joined the Marines Corps on May 25, 1970. He rededicated his life to Christ after the Marine Corps and college on November 19, 1978. He has been running for Jesus every since. In December, 1978 he moved to Greenville, SC to teach school. He joined the Queen Street Baptist Church under Pastor Charles Gambrell. He worked in various capacities while there from the male chorus, Trustee, church clerk, Deacon, Adult Sunday School teacher and eventually minister under Pastor B. Kenneth Waters. He preached his initial sermon on April 1, 1990. He later joined Mt. Sinai Baptist Church under Dr. Toney Parks and was ordained under his tutelage and began to pastor New Salem Baptist Church in Tigerville, SC. He pastored there from April 10, 1993 until November 27, 1998. God had commissioned him to start a new work. He and his wife started Lord of Glory Full Gospel Baptist Church under Bishop Paul Morton. He opened the door of L.O.G. on January 4, 1998. In the F.G.B.C. he served as minister of education for South Carolina. In December, 2001 he joined The Lord’s Churches, Fellowships, and Ministries International, Inc. under now Archbishop Grant B. Williams, Jr. While there he served as District Overseer, State Overseer, and northern State Bishop under Provincial Bishop Harris E. Clark. He also served as Director of Christian Education for the national body. In May, 2004 he left TLCFMII with Bishop Clark, Bishop Theotis White, Bishop Samuel Fuah, and Bishop Lee Moore to help start Kingdom Life Fellowship  International, Inc. under the presiding bishop, Bishop Harris E. Clark. He served here as the Bishop of South Carolina, the Director of Education, First Administrative Assistant to the Presider. He has served as the Diocesan Bishop of the South Atlantic Region. He is currently the 3 rd Presiding Bishop of KLFII. Bishop Sitton is married to Eld. Esser S. Sitton for the past 37 years. They have one daughter VanEsser Michelle Sitton. She is a living testimony to the healing power of God. He healed her of sickle cell disease in her six month of life. She has been free from that disease for over 20 years. Bishop Sitton was educated in the Hendersonville County School System graduating in 1969. He joined the Marines from 1970-1974. After his discharge, he attended Blue Ridge Technical Institute (Blue Ridge Community College) and graduated with an A. S. degree. He matriculated to
Appalachian State University where he earned a B. S. degree in History. After moving to
Greenville, SC, he attended Furman University where he earned his M. A. degree in Education and 30 hours in School Administration. He is currently retired as an Assistant Principal after 28 years. Bishop Sitton’s desire is to see people set free in Christ, and walking in their deliverance. He has been anointed by God to “…set the captives free”. Many have received healings from the hand of God through his ministry. Demons have been cast out, and more people are walking in the truths of God’s Word under his teachings. He gives God all the glory!
